Register and Attend Live Classroom/Virtual Events

Fractal allows you to attend live virtual classrooms as well as scheduled events on-site.ย 

You can view all the listed sessions for an event or virtual classroom when you make your choice.

While a location and time are shared for a Live Classroom session, the details for a web conference are provided for a virtual classroom session. Once you enroll for a Catalog Item, you can register for a classroom session and attend them.

To register and attend a virtual classroom session:

  1. Open the details page of the Catalog Item.
  2. Scroll to the Content section and click the DETAILS button in the Classroom that is listed.
    • If the course had been enrolled for you directly by your Site Admin/Business Admin, you do not need to register for the Classroom. You can directly open the Classroom and view the details, access reference materials, and complete assignments.

     

  3. In the Classroom details page, scroll down to the Upcoming Events section and click REGISTER.
  4. Click CONTINUE in the pop-up box to confirm your registration.
  5. Once registered, you can either go back to the course page or review the event. Now you will be able to view the Pre-event and Post-event Activities, and Reference materials, if any.
  6. To join in a virtual classroom session, click the web conference link given in the description of the Classroom.
  7. A new tab opens in which you can launch the meeting.
    • In the case of a Zoom Meeting, make sure that Start Zoom app is installed in your system to launch the meeting. In case it is not installed, a file is downloaded on clicking the Zoom Meeting link in the description box. Double-click the downloaded file and allow installation. In the pop-up windows, click the Open Zoom Meetings button to launch the meeting in the application. You will be able to join the meeting if the host has already started the meeting.
